As you will no doubt have noticed as you are reading this blog, we have finally got round to adding a blog module to intextra.web. It has been a long time coming as we have spent a considerable amount of time evaluating the best commenting system to use. In the end we chose to use the Disqus commenting platform for its ease of use, great feature list and well engadget.com use it so it must good!

We have tried to keep it as user friendly for you as possible, so once you have setup your Disqus account (or we can do it for you if you like) you simply add your 'shortname' into the application settings available on your dashboard. If you don't have application settings available to you please give me a call as you'll need to upgrade your version of intextra.web.

Once that is done everything else works in exactly the same way as the existing News module, with the addition of a small checkbox asking if you'd like to allow people to comment on your blog post. That's it. Simple!
